Sohanya Cheng, MBA

Sohanya Cheng joined Karyopharm in June 2021 and is responsible for leading the company’s Commercial functions including Marketing and New product Planning, Sales, Market Access, and Commercial Operations, as well as Business Development.

Sohanya brings 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical commercialization and research experience to Karyopharm, with a strong focus on Oncology. Prior to joining Karyopharm, Sohanya served as Vice President, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals.  She also spent over a decade at Amgen  in various leadership roles, including Executive Director, Head of Marketing & Sales for multiple myeloma and Head of Oncology National Sales, contributing to the commercialization of key oncology brands.  She is a member of the board of directors of Carisma Therapeutics Inc.

Sohanya holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and both a BSc and MA from the University of Cambridge, UK.
